Invisible Islands
70 Greek artists living in Greece and abroad are exhibiting their works in the art exhibition with title "Invisible Islands", hosted at “Sampionara” Gate from 28th of June until Sunday July the 6th, 2015.
The exhibition will open its gates tomorrow Sunday at 20:30.
What is the “invisible islands”? The unseen aspects of real life, the unseen faces of others and ourselves, as well as the unseen aspects of time which sometimes shrouds but also reveals its “rime”.
Reconsidering the Subject, it could - after a second thought - be the way the unseen faces are revealing, in “between the lines”, a case that is related to art, and not just that….Paintings, video art, installations, text and events.
It is an exhibition initiated by the “Art Athina” and participated in eight festivals in Greece, ending in Chania. An exhibition that nowadays is defending the coastline as a motivation, and in general it presents the freedom of glancing, the transition from literature to the local places and of course the forming of an experiential cultural network.
In every place it stands, with its events it makes calls for artists that are active in their local regions, and also the local
educational communities, while its side events with children's workshops and activities are fullfilling their actions.
Organized by the Centre of Mediterranean Architecture along with the non-profit organization "Events Horizon" in the context of visual actions “Clear Water Environment - On the way of water”.
Stella is participating with her Engraving "Without title No1"
