This year’s Athens Video Art Festival completed the circle of its 10-years presence. Through a four- day celebration in which participated 350 artists from 58 countries, resulting in the connection of the past with the present, the academic knowledge with technological development and finally the art with technology.

From Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th of October, the multipart forms of the five sections: (projections, exhibitions, lectures, workshops and performances), confirmed the Athens Video Art Festival’s “perseverance” to renewed its context, considering closely the trends of new media and digital arts. Artists such as Hauschka, Zimoun, Nonotak, honored with their presence this year’s edition, stimulating the inspiration for the next edition.

With many thanks to all people that participate, respect, support and emerge Athens Video Art Festival into an international entity, the upcoming edition of AVAF2015 promise to meet and go beyond the expectations of the audience, the artists and the members themselves.
